Mint: Card has no scratches on the surface or whitening around the edges, and is in a condition as though it has been pulled straight from a booster pack. We would pre grade a card like this a 9-10 grade (Gem Mt- Mint)

Near Mint: Very minor imperfections, maybe a slight scratch or minor whitening around the edges. We would pre grade a card like this at 7-8 (NM-MT).

Excellent: Card still looks in a nice condition however, there will be whitening and scratches, there may also be a small crease. We would pre grade this a 4-6 (NM-VG).

Good: Card will have significantly more whitening and more obvious scratches, It will most definately have a crease. This would be a pre grade on 2-3 (VG-G)

Played: The card has obviously been played with may have a bend, creases, and whitening around all edges, the surface will by scrateched. We would pre grade this card a 1 (Poor). 

Heavily Played: Card may have one or more of the following - heavy scratching, heavy whitening, bends, card creases or folds. We would pre grade a card in this condition as ungradable or a grade 1 (Poor).
